With our program "English as a Tool", we move our language training from the seminar room to the workplace. Native speakers visit the apprentices at work and structure the one-to-one training according to each individual’s needs. The main focus is expanding the vocabulary and acquiring specific technical vocabulary, while overcoming the shyness of holding a conversation in another language. These one-to-one training sessions have helped many to succeed in their final apprenticeship exam. This program is offered in one-to-one sessions lasting 45 minutes per participant. We suggest one session per week, lasting for a total of 8 weeks.
With our program "Language as a Tool", (offered in English and Spanish) we move our language training from the seminar room to the workplace. Native speakers come directly to the company (in person or online) and speak with the employees exclusively in the respective foreign language. Our focus is not only on expanding vocabulary and acquiring specific technical vocabulary, but also on overcoming the shyness of holding a conversation in another language.
This program is offered in one-to-one sessions lasting 30 minutes per participant. We suggest two sessions per week, lasting for a total of 10 weeks.
Through our native English/Spanish speakers we offer conversational training sessions in the workplace. These courses are tailored to the needs of the company as well as the group of participants and can be organized for all levels. Participants are encouraged to communicate easily with others in English or Spanish. Language acquisition is promoted through personal knowledge and exchange in the group. Concrete vocabulary related to the professional environment will be used and applied in various settings, such as personal introductions, simple dialogues, questioning techniques and presentations.
Our intercultural training is aimed to develop awareness between highly skilled international employees arriving in Carinthia and the local workforce, where a common cultural framework does not exist yet. In order to promote clear lines of communication and better relationships we conduct workshops specifically tailored to your needs, either at your location or in specially equipped spaces. It is our aim to support local companies during the onboarding journey of international employees, making them feel welcome and enabling them to stay long-term.
